* What is Channel 3?

Channel 3 is the City of Mt. Juliet's Government Access television station.  

 

* Who can receive Channel 3 broadcasts?

Channel 3 is broadcast to all local Comcast & TDS television subscribers.

 

* Can I broadcast my own programming on Channel 3?

Government Access TV stations like Channel 3, are a resource of the city to address local municipal programming needs. The City may use the channel to cablecast city council meetings, local emergency announcements and other events and programs as related to the local government.  Public Access TV stations provide the forum for the general public to air programming.  The City of Mt. Juliet does not currently have a Public Access TV Station.

 

* May I advertise my business / organization on Channel 3?

No commercial advertisements are accepted to run on Channel 3. If a business / organization is sponsoring a community event, then that company may be mentioned on the slide announcing that event.

 

* How do I get my community event placed on C3?

The preferred method is to submit a PowerPoint slide with all the information about your event.  It should be brief, use font sizes 20pt or larger and avoid large amounts of the color red. Email your slide to tguinan@cityofmtjuliet.org
