Criminal Investigations Division |

| The Criminal Investigations Division handles all major crimes, from vandalism to murder. Each case is assigned to a detective, who works it from the crime scene to the courtroom. Detectives are trained in gathering and handling evidence, fingerprints, surveillance, forensics, sex crimes, interviewing, and court presentation. Each detective in the division was promoted from within the department.
